ProfileDirector, Contract Services The candidate will build and manage company's Contract Services department. Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and manage company's Contract Services team in support of a growing global sales organization (focusing on direct, partner and reseller channels). Design and implement contract policies, processes, and procedures. Negotiate larger licensing, partner, and strategic transactions. Train Contract Services team on all aspects of contract playbook. Train sales team in key contract issues, policies, procedures and systems utilization. Develop new form agreements.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctorate degree strongly preferred. Should have 15+ years of experience in contract management/negotiations, preferably in the SaaS software industry. 5+ years managing a team. Excellent leadership skills and ability to hire, train and retain a high performing team of contract managers/negotiators. Ability to communicate and partner effectively with BlackLine sales, sales operations, legal, and finance teams. Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Knowledge of Salesforce and contract lifecycle management software (Apttus preferred).
