Contracts Manager The candidate will be all facets of contract formation and contract management including drafting, interpretation, negotiation, contract review, and administration of complex supplier agreements. Providing independent and objective contract evaluation as well as experienced advice and sound guidance to various functions, as applicable. Advising ISC Sourcing and Procurement and internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and providing interpretation of terms and conditions. Working closely with ISC Sourcing and Procurement - Electrical and Mechanical Supplier Development groups, contributing to the development and execution of short and long range objectives as well as the development of strategic and tactical plans. Focusing on the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance. Using six sigma / lean methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and improve responsiveness. Collaborating with various teams and functions at multiple sites, ensuring organizational effectiveness and standardization. Supporting the maximization of cost targets and cash flow while minimizing risk in the negotiation of contracts. Supporting Aerospace Contracts and ISC Sourcing and Procurement Functional Transformation and Excellence initiatives, as required. Contributing to the development of strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field with 7 years of experience in commercial contracting. Must have advanced graduate degree with 4 years experience in commercial contracting. J.D. or MBA preferred. Six Sigma Greenbelt certification desirable. Should have advanced ability to analyze, draft, and negotiate complex agreements. Must have ability to research and analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions. Should have commercial contracting and procurement experience including Intellectual Property, Export Control, and Uniform Commercial Code requirements. Must have ability to anticipate common patterns of negotiation and advise clients on basic strategic planning to manage or respond to them. Strong problem solving, contractual negotiation, and interpersonal skills are needed. Strong working knowledge of procurement contract administration including legal, procurement, accounting requirements, and international contracting laws desirable. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, leadership and initiative with results in dynamic environments.
