VP, Legal The candidate must have manage legal business matters pertaining to Porch, Review of partnerships contracts, including negotiation on legal points with the counter-party, Acquisitions: drafting of agreements, legal diligence such as review of contracts with vendors and customers, coordination of disclosure schedules, and preparation of exhibits, Ownership of website terms for Porch and any future acquisitions, Advise on legal aspects of financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities,Regulatory filings such as Delaware/Texas franchise filings,Research and address employment law issues as needed, Represent as counsel during Porch’s board meetings and prepare resolutions, consents, and minutes, Ownership of Porch’s contract library, Provide strategic legal guidance to Porch’s executive team on legal matters, Manage capitalization table.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have minimum 8 years of experience, a mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is a plus, Working experience with mergers & acquisitions, Expert negotiation skills, Experience dealing with global employment law, including independent contracting and HR issues, Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations, Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done,Must maintain confidentiality.
