Contract Administrator 3/4 The candidate supports the Space and ISR Systems Business Division. Will act as the primary interface with customers and business partners in conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration, and serves a key role for our dynamic and fast-paced advanced business area, interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders. Acts as the official focal point of contact for customer communication and takes a lead role in strategic relationship development. Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have following qualifications:
Level 3: Must possess 6 years’ related work experience (contracts or contracts related field) with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ related work experience with a Master’s degree or J.D.
Level 4: Must possess 10 years’ related work experience (contracts or contracts related field) with a Bachelor’s degree or 8 years’ related work experience with a Master’s degree or J.D.
Requirements for both positions:
College degree field of study should be in Business, Contracts, Finance or related field. Candidates must possess an active and current Top Secret government security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Should have demonstrated ability to develop solutions to problems utilizing proactive concepts, techniques, and standards. Must have strong working knowledge of acquisition regulations. Experience with all contract types including firm fixed price, cost type, and time and material contracts is needed. Must possess leadership qualities with the ability to provide sound advice on a wide range of contractual and business related matters. Must possess demonstrated professional working experience and knowledge of all contract budget types. Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength with verbal, written, PC, presentation and communications skills. An active and current TS/SCI government security clearance is preferred.
