Contract Manager The candidate will be responsible for all facets of contract formation and contract management including drafting, interpretation, negotiation, contract review, and administration of complex customer agreements. Will provide independent and objective contract evaluation as well as experienced advice and sound guidance to various functions, as applicable. Advise internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions. Work closely with ITEC groups, contributing to the development and execution of short and long range objectives as well as the development of strategic and tactical plans. Focus on the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance. Use six sigma / lean methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and improve responsiveness. Collaborate with various teams and functions at multiple sites, ensuring organizational effectiveness and standardization. Support the maximization of cost targets and cash flow while minimizing risk in the negotiation of contracts. Support Aerospace Contracts and ITEC Functional Transformation and Excellence initiatives, as required. Contribute to the development of strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or other field with 7+ years of experience in commercial contracting. Advanced graduate degree with 4+ years of experience in commercial contracting is required. J.D. degree or MBA is preferred. International contracting experience highly desired. Advanced ability to analyze, draft, and negotiate complex agreements an asset. Commercial contracting and procurement experience including Intellectual Property, Export Control, and Uniform Commercial Code requirements a plus. Strong working knowledge of customer contract administration including legal, procurement, accounting requirements, and international contracting laws desirable. Six Sigma Greenbelt certification desirable.
