Contract Administrator 2/3 The candidate will join the Sector Contracts Policy Organization. The responsibilities of this position include: Managing Contracts related Procedures, Work Instructions, Manuals and Forms in accordance with Sector and Corporate requirements. Reviewing changes of other functional organizations Procedures, Work Instructions, Manuals and forms for impacts to the Contracts organization. Assisting with process improvement within the Contracts function by brainstorming process improvement ideas and implementation. Review of all draft regulatory changes and actual regulatory changes related to Defense Contracting Acquisition (examples include Counterfeit Parts, Specialty Metals, Service Contract Act, etc.) to include assessment of impact to Sector business, required changes to Policies and Procedures, and communication to the Sector Contracts Organization. Interface with the Corporate Contracts Organization and Sector Management to evaluate regulatory and procedure changes, assess risk, and implement strategies/actions within the Sector. Subsidiary administration and support to the Corporate Secretary’s Office, including drafting Powers of Attorney, supporting Corporate Entity Streamlining activities, and Officer/Director changes. Develop strategies for efficient and effective communication with a large and diverse Sector Contracts Organization located across the country and international locations.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Contracts, Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Management, or other related field. For a Band 2 Level: 3+ years of experience in contracts, supply chain, or business management related field with a Bachelors or 1+ years of experience in contracts, supply chain, or business management related field with a Masters. For a Band 3 level: 6+ years of experience in contracts, supply chain, or business management related field with a Bachelors or 4+ years of experience in contracts, supply chain, or business management related field with a Masters. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS. Excellent written/oral communication skills and organizational skills. Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Experience with a focus on proposal and program execution is preferred. Understanding of Contracts and Procurement regulatory changes is desired.
