Contracts Negotiator The candidate will support Contract Review and Negotiations to Mitigate Risk. Will mitigate financial risk. National Builder and Complex Contract Review & Negotiations. Gauge levels of financial risk within the contract review process. Will act with a sense of fiduciary responsibility. Will reinforce Communication and Reporting. Will responsible for the preparation and dissemination of reports as directed by management which includes “ad hoc” reporting. Will collect and analyze data to detect deficient contract management discrepancies. Will prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations trends and recommended next steps. Will collaborate Effectively Across Organization. Will work with managerial staff in both the operational and legal department to complete tasks according to industry best practices. Will perform in a cross-functional role for other business elements, e.g. finance, legal, operations Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards set for both MASCO Corporate & Operations. Will contribute to Best Practices and Continuous Improvement. Will Maintain current knowledge of construction industry regulations, trends and practices. Must identifying if and where processes are not working as they should, and advising on changes to be made. Will develop continuous improvement implementation and strategy in key functional areas. Will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks within the contracts management industry.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have Education & Certifications of Bachelor’s Degree. Course of study: Legal, Business or Risk Management. Special Certification or Licensing: Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM). Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM). Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age. Expert level in office applications including Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Expert Skills in Contract Negotiations. Must have 5 Years in Contract Review and Negotiations. Proficient in Microsoft Word Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Industry Specific: Construction/Real Estate. Functional Specific: Contracts Review/Negotiation Management. Additional/Preferred Experience: Juris Doctorate.
