Contract Manager The candidate will manage the implementation of new contracts as well as administration of existing contracts among the contracting team in conjunction with the Director of Contracts and Licensing. Will negotiate contract terms and conditions and monitors contract performance. Will negotiate contract rates with third party payers. Will establish business relationships with payers and resolves contract related matters. Will coordinate the implementation of executed contracts to communicate contract requirements/changes internally. Will review solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Will participate in the development of business alliance and partnering, acquisitions and divestitures, source selection procedures and processes. Will work directly with Management in creating new work flow tools and processes. Will be responsible for updating in-house documents and tracking information and data flow for the department. Will be work independently in the management of a large number of simultaneous contract negotiations and performs other miscellaneous responsibilities and special projects for the department as requested.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have BA/BS degree; J.D. should have 3-5 years of related contract experience. Should have demonstrated knowledge and ability in contract negotiation. Should have working knowledge of health care delivery systems. Should have demonstrated ability to drive results and take initiative. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
