Contracts Administrator IV The candidate will be responsible for bringing an entire company together (e.g., Sales, General Council, Business Approvers, Revenue Recognition) to execute the most strategic and valued transactions within the company. Work long hours under pressure with a very close knit team. Go through daily challenges as an individual and as a team, building strong relationships through shared experiences, all while working independently and maintaining autonomy. The Contracts Administrator job is comprised of either a Deal Specialist or a Deal Manager role. Lead and manage the contracting process end-to-end for strategic, complex transactions that meet regional criteria requiring Deal Manager involvement. Set the overall direction for their assigned managed deal(s) and is responsible for the successful execution of the contracting process, ensuring consistency and adherence with company strategy, commitments and goals as well as compliance with company policies and procedures. Facilitate and co-coordinate discussion amongst Sales and multiple company functional stakeholders (i.e. Deal Specialist, RevRec, Finance, Legal, OFD, Business Practices, Migrations, Order Management, etc.) to reach agreement on contracting terms in order to solve complex contracting scenarios and meet the specific needs of their assigned managed deal(s). Lead contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BA/BS degree in Business; MA or Law degree or equivalent required. A background in project management with an emphasis on contracts is preferred. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical communication skills required. Proficiency in Email, MS Word and Excel required. Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial, federal, state, and/or local government contracts required. Knowledge of company policies and procedures preferred. 8+ years experience in drafting and negotiating fixed price and time and materials commercial, federal, state, and/or local government contracts required. Prior experience in high tech industry, consulting, or professional services industry preferred.
