Attorney II - Procurement Contracting Team The candidate will be part of the Legal Procurement Contracting team of the Bank and its affiliates. Responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts with the bank’s third-party providers of a variety of services and technology products. Specifically, support Corporate Risk, Finance, certain consulting relationships and general technology engagements. Provide legal services related to the acquisition of technology, consulting, and other products and services for the bank’s various lines of business and functional areas. Procurement Contracting works with Strategic Sourcing, Corporate Third Party Risk Management, Information Security, and other stakeholders to ensure that all legal, regulatory, data security, and related risks are appropriately identified and addressed in vendor contracts. Also responsible for advising clients regarding existing contractual obligations and helping manage vendor disputes. J.D. from accredited law school and 3+ years of experience negotiating technology and service contracts required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to independently manage competing priorities on a regular basis required. Experience negotiating technology and service contracts required. Large law firm experience preferred. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. Experience on the “buy side” of services and technology contracts preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other word processing applications and database management applications required. Familiarity with Ariba and Archer preferred.
