Strategic Sourcing Contract Analyst Duties: Act as a liaison between Sourcing, Legal, Contract Management, business stakeholders and the outside vendor community to facilitate the contract routing and execution process which may include redline negotiations, tracking of approval process, routing for signature, and circulating fully executed Agreement amongst internal stakeholders and vendor. Assist the Strategic Sourcing Analyst(s) and Manager(s) by being the key contributor responsible for assisting with initial Statement of Work (SOW) creation, routing in-process contracts between internal Signet parties and vendor community, redline review and negotiation, routing for approval, signatures, and proper electronic filing of documents. Play an integral role as one of the principle faces of the organization to outside vendor community as well as serve as the key partner with internal business departments to ensure business and legal terms are agreed upon and contract(s) are fully executed. Become familiar with and can speak to Signet’s contractual documents and important Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). Act as a liaison between Legal, Contract Management, Sourcing, business stakeholders and the outside vendor community to facilitate the contract routing and execution process. Review vendor redlines with the business stakeholder(s) and Sourcing Analyst to either: Determine if the business stakeholder(s) agree with the changes, / Work together to recommend alternate language. Alongside Signet Legal, responsible for thoroughly addressing all legal T&Cs; assist with any negotiations to finalize the contract(s). Routing of proposed language to the applicable parties and scheduling, facilitating and coordinating times to review. Represent Signet with external vendor community, and represent Sourcing with internal business stakeholders (including Senior Executive Levels), on contract negotiations – ensure professional demeanor with the upmost integrity throughout all events. Conduct and lead meetings with positions at any level within Signet, including Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and Executive level leaders. Obtain business stakeholders’ approval on final contract(s) prior to vendor execution; obtain and coordinate approval, execution, and electronic filing of all contracts. Develop clear and concise Statements of Work (SOWs) for Sourcing project(s) along with providing guidance and assistance to Sourcing Analyst(s) on Statement of Work(s). Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job. Become familiar with the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing process and may be responsible for assisting on the Sourcing project(s).
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Law Degree preferred. 2-4 years' experience in commercial contract negotiations and execution. 2-4 years' experience in project management, experience in retail is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be self-motivated. The ability to manage multiple projects at one time. The ability to work in a fast pace environment.
