Contracts & Negotiation Manager The candidate will be responsible for using business & legal judgment to structure, draft, review, & negotiate commercial agreements including transactional customer sales agreements, contract amendments, distribution agreements, & other agreements with strategic & key customers, as well as assisting with customer requests for proposal. Work closely with key cross-functional teams (i.e. sales, service, business, finance, legal, etc.), and external customers. Draft, review/edit, and negotiate strategic and transactional customer agreements such as (but not limited to): customer sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal, etc.). Review and approve higher risk terms negotiated by Contract Specialists. Provide training and mentorship to Contract Specialists. Manage contract clause libraries and contract databases. Advise sales and business teams on agreement structure, risks, and alternatives. Manage the contract approval process. Lead process improvement efforts to support the achievement of business objectives. JD degree OR Paralegal certification and 5+ years of related experience required. 3-5 years of experience with contract drafting and negotiation with customer/client interaction and managing successful relationships required. Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environment required. Ability to communicate using English and outstanding interpersonal skills required. Experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industry preferred. High level working knowledge of Microsoft office required. Experience using, developing, and/or implementing a CLM system preferred. Understanding of channel strategy and go-to-market options required.
