ProfileBusiness Attorney Duties: Handle business development including client intakes and participating in networking events for business opportunities. Handle corporate legal matters for business clients (e.g. trademark, employment law issues, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements) Develop company policy and positions on legal issues. Research, anticipate and advise client companies to guard against legal risks. Guide business managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents. Draft and administer contracts. File a variety of corporate documents in California and Delaware. Other job duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: California State Bar. 2+ years of corporate business experience, including formation, financing, contracts, and general employment related matters. Experience in immigration law a plus. Chinese speaking is a plus. Capacity to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to work with ambiguous or unclear requirements, and drive to a successful resolution. Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities. Solid analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement. Have the ability to work effectively with others and have great interpersonal skills. Must be willing to accept responsibility and show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.
