Corporate Contracts Attorney The candidate will assist with reviewing, editing, and/or drafting and negotiating software as a service (SaaS) agreements. Will log, organize, and manage document workflow, and develop and/or maintain related systems and files. Maintain and update a database of standard contract forms and templates. Provide advice to internal clients to support resolution of routine contractual and legal issues. Review contracts and policies, and research best practices. Research, analyze and summarize statutes, regulations and legal articles. JD degree with strong academic credentials from an accredited law school is needed. Membership in good standing in Virginia State Bar is essential. Should have 10+ years of transactional experience in a law firm or in-house environment. Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts is required. Experience with financial services, software and/or technology contracts is preferred. Outstanding written communication skills, including accuracy and attention to detail is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially MS Word and Excel) is advantageous. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
