ProfilePatent Associate Attorney (EE / CS / ME) The candidate will be drafting and prosecuting patent applications (U.S. and international) and client counseling regarding patentability, infringement and validity, with significant opportunities to practice all aspects of IP law, including litigation. Should have technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and/or Mechanical Engineering. Should have Bachelor of Science degree, a JD degree from an accredited law school, and 2-5 years of experience as an IP attorney. I would advise management to branch out and take on different cases. Attorneys get somewhat burnt out working the same cases repeatedly.Pros : The management of the firm strongly believes in allowing attorneys to work cases independently. Management was available to aide but I was free to make decisions on cases without interference from management.
