Patent Litigation Attorney The candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in patent litigation throughout the U.S. involving software patents. Must have an undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or significant experience handling substantive patent issues and ability to handle legal issues related to underlying technology. Will serve in preparing infringement/non-infringement contentions. Will be preparing/responding to invalidity contentions; drafting claim construction briefs; preparing for depositions, including expert witness preparation; drafting dispositive motions, motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and motions to transfer venue. Must be licensed and admitted to practice law. Portable business is not necessary. Active membership in state bar of any state is required, though firm, operations and employment are centered in Los Angeles.
