Patent Associate (Electronics) The candidate will join pre-eminent, national IP Electronics Practice Group. Should have 2+ years of IP patent preparation and prosecution experience. Should have transferable skills, a strong academic background, and excellent written and oral communication skills. A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a related field is required. Ideal candidate should have major law firm experience with one or more of the following: Internet technologies, communications systems and networks, wireless systems, computer hardware and software, and other technologies. Must hold a JD from a top-tier ABA-approved law school, and be in good standing and an active member of the Illinois Bar. Admission before the USPTO will be required as a condition of hire.
