ProfileSenior Counsel – Diagnostics The candidate will prepare, file, prosecute and/or manage worldwide patent portfolio for life science/biotechnology technologies; conduct due diligence and freedom-to-operate assessments; provide patent advice to clients within the diagnostic business; develop and implement IP strategies; prepare agreements and support IP aspects of research/commercial collaborations. Must have JD degree and USPTO registrations in good standing. Should have 3-6 years of experience as a patent attorney, preferably in the life science/biotechnology fields. Working knowledge of patent laws in major countries is preferred. Significant freedom-to-operate or product clearance experience, preferably for life science/biotech products is desired. Substantial experience in patent prosecution preferably in life science/biotechnology fields is helpful.
