Portland office of our client seeks attorney with state, federal, and/or administrative litigation experience. The candidate will develop transactional water rights, demonstrate superb knowledge of options available to clients under the law, and proficiently complete transactional tasks. Will litigate before administrative, state, and federal forums, often involving unique matters of first impression, including all phases of litigation from commencement to post-trial and appeals. Travel to remote, rural areas as necessary or desired for client development and representation. Background or education in water law, hydrogeology, property, real estate, land use, agriculture, municipal/local government, and/or energy is required. Transactional administrative agency and contracts experience is needed. Connections and knowledge of the agriculture industry and/or management of local governments required. Must be a member of the Oregon Bar. Licenses in Idaho, Washington, Utah, Nevada or California are a plus.
