Law Fellowship Fellow will oversees the Advice and Counseling program, assists other attorneys with litigation and special projects, and participates in community outreach, public education, and policy advocacy efforts. Must have: JD Degree from a U.S. law school awarded, or to be awarded, in 2017 or 2018; Admission to California Bar or plans to sit for July 2018 bar exam. Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to gender equality, women’s rights and legal issues affecting women and/or girls, people of color, and other populations that are deprived of civil and/or human rights; Dedication to being a team player, commitment to collaboration and to providing the highest level of client service; Record of strong academic performance and excellent legal research and writing skills; Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and work independently; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish strongly preferred. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, board members, volunteers, clients, outside counsel, court personnel, organization donors and allies Start Date: August 2018 Deadline: October 26, 2017
