ProfileInternational Legal Fellow Fellows will work on a variety of projects to advance the rights of women and girls with disabilities worldwide, including: Undertaking research on international and regional human rights law; Developing and leading trainings for local advocates to raise issues affecting women and girls with disabilities with UN human rights mechanisms; Drafting submissions to UN human rights mechanisms; and Representing the organization at meetings and conferences.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Eligible candidates will have a degree in law and knowledge of international human rights Law. Experience working on, and commitment to, women’s rights and/or disability rights is preferred. Capable of complex legal research and analysis and should possess high quality writing, editing, and advocacy skills.
Duration: 1 year
