McKennon Shelton & Henn LLP seeks to hire an associate with up to 5 years of transactional experience to work in both our national public finance practice and growing general corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in public finance, real estate or finance transactions, including experience reviewing, drafting and finalizing various types of agreements, contracts, and disclosure documents. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a sophisticated, exciting and rewarding area of the law and provides for ample career growth.

Qualified candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and research abilities and effective communication skills. Organizational and time-management skills are essential, as the candidate will have to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work as part of a team and exercise practical judgment. Licensure to practice law in the state of Maryland is required, and licensure or the ability to attain licensure in the District of Columbia is preferred.
