Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A JD Degree or a license to practice law in the U.S. An attorney with open source or standards experience is highly desired with: An interest or working knowledge of patents, copyright, software licensing, and non-profit corporate governance. Strong negotiation and diplomatic skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups and communities. Excellent communication and drafting skills. Strong judgment and the ability effectively balance legal risks against business interests. A bias for action and driving client-focused results.
