IP Litigation Biotechnology Attorney Job Description

The IP – Litigation – Biotechnology practice area covers the breakthrough products and technologies to combat debilitating and rare diseases, reduce our environmental footprint, feed the hungry, consume less, yet cleaner energy, and have safer, cleaner and more efficient industrial manufacturing processes. There are more than 250 biotechnology health care products and vaccines, over 13.3 million farmers worldwide use agricultural biotechnology to increase yields and prevent crop damage due to pests, and reduce farming’s environmental impact. Biotechnology is also used to produce biofuels and chemicals from renewable biomass, which can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
