'Here are a few sample construction partner job descriptions: Construction Partner/Counsel The candidate should have a book of business and with significant experience in representing small owners, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, architects, engineers, and constructors of major projects in all facets of the construction industry from contract planning and negotiations to claims avoidance and resolution through to project closeout. Should have experience litigating, arbitrating, mediating, and counseling clients on risk management, dispute avoidance, and alternative dispute resolution. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar. The ideal candidate should also have extensive experience working across a wide range of disciplines that will enable us to better serve clients in the construction industry. Senior Construction Partner The candidate should have 15 years of experience working on energy, infrastructure and project finance matters. Experience with P3, EPC and procurement will be of value. Non-contentious Construction Partner The candidate must have either a non-contentious focused practice, or a mixed non-contentious/contentious practice and comfortable in handling all aspects of a construction project - from inception through all stages of a project through to post-completion issues. Some client following is necessary. Construction Partner The candidate will work encompassing all matters of construction practice, contentious and non contentious matters. Will work on large caseload, predominantly created of partners own back. Do people management, budgets and training. Work on Mixture of Contentious and Non Contentious work. Should be a qualified and experienced construction solicitor. A following is highly desirable. Excellent experience in the Construction field is needed. Non-Contentious Construction Partner The candidate should have a solid track record of business development. Construction Partner / Designate The candidate will find this a vibrant and supportive environment in which to develop construction law services. Applications are well welcomed from contentious and/or non-contentious construction specialists. Projects/PFI/Construction Partner The candidate will be advising top level clients on PFI and PPP projects particularly in Waste, Education, Energy, Health and Regeneration. Should be experienced Partners with a strong background in projects and construction and a good level of contacts, either in the UK or perhaps in the Middle East or Asia.'
