Summary: Armstrong Teasdale, one of Missouri's largest law firms, expands to Denver, Colorado by adding 10 attorneys who formerly worked at Denver-based Steese Evans & Frankel P.C.
Armstrong Teasdale announced on Monday that as part of its western expansion initiative, the law firm is hiring 10 lawyers to open a Denver office on October 1, 2014. The firm said the new developments complements Armstrong Teasdale's core strengths and expands its national capabilities in white-collar crime and internal investigations, as well as in telecommunications and intellectual property. All 10 attorneys joining in Denver have strong telecommunications, technology and regulatory experience.
Among those newly joining Armstrong Teasdale are two well-known litigation attorneys of Denver, Chuck Steese and Kevin Evans, both founding and name partners of Steese Evans & Frankel.
Evans is a nationally recognized civil and white-collar criminal defense trial lawyer who also works internationally. Steese is a high-profile trial lawyer in telecommunications and intellectual property disputes. Clients of the two attorneys include companies like CenturyLink, the United States Olympic Committee, Westwood College, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and a huge number of individuals and companies facing government investigation.
Mike Chivell, Armstrong Teasdale's managing partner, said, "This westward move will strengthen our existing practice areas and pave the way for future nationwide growth." The firm claimed in its news release that the move will create synergies between the Denver office and the firm's established offices in Las Vegas and Kansas City.
Chivell added further, "Chuck, Kevin and their team are exceptional lawyers and well regarded among many Denver-based companies and industries. We welcome them with enthusiasm and look forward to having them become a part of the Armstrong Teasdale family."

I was incredibly happy with the site. I thought it was very easy to use; had significantly more postings than any other site (or combination of sites); and provided a lot of useful information. (the number, and caliber, of job postings). Exactly what I was looking for – I have 5 years’ experience and was looking for a lateral move or an in-house position, and that’s exactly what I found!
