Elizabeth A. North, a founding member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants, has been involved in the DC legal recruiting industry for nearly 30 years. She has worked with national law firms to establish offices, both within and outside of DC, and successfully placed lateral partners and practice groups. Prior to joining the legal recruiting business, North served as the branch manager of a technical recruiting company. She has also worked as a recruiting officer for a national company.

Since she became involved in the legal recruiting industry in 1987, Wendy Berman Jensen has been responsible for the successful placement of a number of associates, partners, and groups. Prior to her arrival to the formation of North Berman & Beebe Limited, she was the attorney recruiting coordinator for Dickstein, Shapiro & Morin and also spent time as the director of recruitment for Patton Boggs and Blow. She holds a BA from the University of Maryland and has been a member of the National Association of Law Placement and the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association.


Colin Parker Beebe specializes in the corporate, technology, commercial litigation, white collar, telecommunications, and food and drug placement areas. He has been a part of the legal recruiting community since 1989 and has opened local offices for national law firms, and worked to place associates, partners, and groups.

North Berman & Beebe Limited works closely with job candidates to establish a thorough understanding of job skills, past experience, and future goals. Candidate resumes are reviewed and, if necessary, revised to better represent the candidate's particular qualifications.

When a suitable job opportunity arises, the consultants at North Berman & Beebe provide the candidates with detailed information about the position prior to releasing the candidate's resume. In fact, all candidate information remains confidential unless the candidate gives his or her permission to release it.

Once an interview has been arranged, the consultants at North Berman & Beebe prepares the candidate by providing crucial information on the hiring party, as well as interview preparation services. Following the interview, North Berman & Beebe remain involved through the negotiation stage. If multiple offers are extended to a single candidate, the consultants will assist in making the best choice possible for the candidate's future.
