Paul D. Katzman is the Assistant Dean for Career Planning at Marquette University Law School. In this role, he directs all of the operations of the Career Planning Center. Katzman came to Marquette after practicing corporate and real estate law for seven years, in Washington, D.C. and Hartford, Connecticut. He holds a J.D. from William & Mary School of Law, an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the George Washington University, and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
Erin Binns is the Assistant Director of the Career Planning Center. She came to Marquette after practicing law at Quarles & Brady, LLP. There, she focused her practice on litigation involving complex commercial issues, class action school law and products liability.
Formerly, she served as an intern to Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She also worked as a teaching assistant for Wisconsin Law School's legal research and writing program. Before practicing law, Ms. Binns taught high school English. As well, she gave instruction in literature, writing, and public speaking courses. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
She writes a monthly column on legal job searches for the American Bar Association's publication, Student Lawyer. In addition, she serves as a contributing editor.
In addition, Catherine Bergman serves as the CPC’s Career Planning Assistant. She has over twenty years of experience in customer service. Prior to coming to Marquette, Catherine worked in the Financial Aid Office at Cardinal Stritch University. In addition, she holds a holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
