International programs, a faith based approach, the strength to influence an entire nation, and most recently, a historic bar passage rate, Regent University School of Law raises the legal bar for its student body. The most recent graduates have a pass rate of 85.7%, which is considerably higher than the Virginia average and a third of all Virginia law schools. Founded by Pat Robertson in 1978, the school itself is still considered relatively young. However, the private school quickly rose to the top and is considered one of the most sought after law schools in the nation. With 4,500 part time and full time students, along with more than 629 academic staff members, it's no small campus, yet it prides itself on its personalized approach.

The school's motto, ''Christian Leadership to Change the World'' began as a passing thought of Robertson's. Soon, however, his passing thought became a dream that eventually culminated into the spectacular campus that now houses beautiful halls and perfectly landscaped courtyards. The school focuses on its graduate programs; however, it does offer undergraduate programs. With seven distinctive graduate campuses, including the School of Education, School of Psychology, School of Divinity, and of course, the School of Law, Robertson admits it's what he always envisioned.

Located in the Robertson Hall, the Regent University School of Law offers a massive law library that rests on the top floor of the library building. It received full accreditation in 1996 by the American Bar Association and there are approximately 500 law students in any given year. It offers several programs, both full and part time, to ensure every opportunity is offered.

While all American universities focus on an applicant's personal statements, Regent typically is more inclined to select those students with strong faiths and who wish to receive their legal degrees with Christian principles. The Law Chapel, found on campus, encourages the Regent University family to come together to worship. It even has a live stream each week of its services for those who cannot attend or for those who wish to be a part of the worship services wherever they are. Indeed, it's rare for a law school to offer such faith based messages, but it's exactly what Robertson had intended all along.

With a staff that focuses on the student body, both collectively and individually, there is a powerful support system always in place.
