The legal recruiting firm also runs a quarterly survey called the Robert Half Legal Hiring index which has recently shown that there will be an increased demand for legal professionals in the coming year. The survey, which consisted of 100 corporate lawyers with hiring responsibilities at companies that employ twenty or more, showed a seven point increase over the fourth quarter of 2010. Only 1% of respondents expected a decrease.

It shows some confidence returning to the legal marketplace.'' The survey also found, however, that firms are being cautious and looking to hire those who are already employed. Fifty two percent of the respondents to the survey said they had trouble finding skilled legal professionals.
