Loyola Marymount University is the home of Loyola Law School in downtown Los Angeles. It was founded as a private Jesuit school located in 1920. The Law School is named in honor of the Jesuit Founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola.

The Princeton Review chooses the Top Ten Law Schools every year based on a survey of 17,000 law students from 170 law schools. The survey is based on many factors important to the quality of education. One factor is the faculty and their teaching ability plus availability outside the classroom. Law students are asked about their resources for doing research and if there are a large range of classes available. Does the school offer a balance between Law Theory and Practical Application? These are some of the points that earned Loyola Law School their ranking.

The Law School has seen much growth and received recognition in national rankings from the Princeton Review. ''First'' for Best Classroom Experience and ''fourth'' for Professors Rock (you read it right) and ''fifth'' for Trial Advocacy by U.S. News & World Report.

Success Stories

LawCrossing has the most listings of any job board I have used. It's actually a great site. The website had a lot of detail. It’s nice that you don't have to go through a recruiter if you don't want to. You can actually contact the law firm directly for the positions listed. LawCrossing had a ton of great features.
