Stop appointing new managing partners/leaders on the basis of social promotion. The transfer of power only happens amongst a core group of toxic leaders who enable cronyism and lack the ability to actually lead people. As long as the money is pouring in, to hell with the people.

A midwestern, strictly conservative approach has stifled the overall progress of the firm. Inner workings point to a disconnect between regional leaders, dysfunctional operations and a greed amid rainmakers that deprives high-performing staff and junior attorneys of real recognition and support.
