The attorneys should be more available to staff in case there are questions about projects or tasks that are given to them. Sometimes, assuming the staff knows what they are doing and will figure it out is wrong and being able to have someone there to ask questions to is needed.
There hasn't been a time where I felt that someone was breathing down my neck waiting for me to be done with a task. Staff are always given a task, then left alone to do the task on their own schedule. I enjoy the more laid back approach because it helps ease the stress that normally comes with a firm. It is also refreshing to be trusted with something as important as a case task and to be left alone while you work on it. The trust goes both ways with the staff and attorneys and it's a great thing!
Even though the attorneys often give tasks and allow you to work on them on your own, sometimes there isn't direction on some tasks when there should be some. It is nice to be trusted so much to not get direction, however at times the tasks are confusing and it would be nice to have direction.
Thank you.
