An immigration paralegal should have an Associate degree in paralegal studies, graduation from an ABA approved program of study for legal assistants, or a Bachelor’s degree with a certificate in paralegal studies. Bilingual language skills are considered to be an advantage. Immigration law is very intricate and detailed and it sees a rapid change.
