Associates are also eligible to receive a January bonus based on the associate’s performance during the previous year. Effective September 2007, the firm pays a $50,000 clerkship bonus to incoming associates who join the firm upon completion of a federal court clerkship. In addition, an $11,500 bar-exam expense stipend is provided for entry-level associates. Other benefits include federal judicial clerkship bonuses, a merit bonus program, and the coverage of moving expenses for non-local new associates. Other benefits include:
