Investment Management Paraprofessional The candidate will provide Paralegal services to Legal Staff, clients and mutual funds, including: Prepare materials for quarterly and special Board meetings for mutual funds as needed. Attend Board meetings and take, receive and interpret Board meeting notes. Research and interpret technical information to compose the minutes of Board and Board Committee meetings. Ensure timely renewal of contracts and prepare consents. Research, analyze, interpret and respond to Legal and procedural issues and questions, as appropriate. Present results at client or department meetings or training sessions. Advocate and resolve issues for and with clients, as appropriate. Assist Paralegal Supervisor, Paralegal Manager and Legal counsel, as directed. Perform research and handle special projects, as directed. <br /> <br /> Case Assistant should have minimum of two-year Associate Degree; Practice Group Specialist requires four-year Bachelor's Degree and some relevant business experience; Tier I requires four-year Bachelor Degree and Paralegal Certificate. Prior business experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Should have excellent time Management and organization skills and must be able to handle multiple priorities requiring the highest level of attention to detail. Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with particular attention to detail and accuracy. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and to maintain quality of work under deadline pressure. Must demonstrate a cooperative attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills with clients, co-workers, regulators and vendors. Familiar with Microsoft Office.
