Corporate Attorney Duties: Will provide legal advice to the System's entities, Senior Management and Board Members in order to establish, define and maintain ongoing relationships with company's suppliers, business affiliates and leadership. Responsibilities include analyzing hospital arrangements to minimize risk and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Subject matters include Healthcare Transaction and Regulatory Law, Stark, federal Anti-Kickback law, HIPAA, PPACA, Administrative Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, drafting and negotiation of contractual documents; presenting recommendations and participating in complex contract negotiations; frequent interaction with senior leadership, Health System management team as well as service providers for continued enhancement of the Organization's goals and objectives and to provide legal advice and support for internal business partners.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: A J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Advanced degree in health law or health law certificate or non-legal experience in healthcare industry is desirable. Must be a member of the NC State Bar Association. Should have 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney with specialized experience serving healthcare provider organization. Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in healthcare. Membership in the American Health Lawyers Association is desirable.
