Interns' duties include assistance with correspondence and constituent requests, research, attending and summarizing hearings, briefings, and resource material for legislative staff, assistance with distribution of press materials, taking constituent calls, assisting the mail room personnel and general office support. Interns are encouraged to take advantage of the resources of Capitol Hill, including attending seminars, hearings, and other legislative events of interest. Student experiences include: Administrative Support; Legislative Research; Media Relations; Regulatory Research; Constituent Services; Policy Research; and Correspondence.
