Corporate Paralegal The candidate will conduct intellectual property research, searches, filing and other necessary tasks related to firm and entertainment's intellectual property portfolio. Create and maintain various reports and spreadsheets related to contract and intellectual property matters; conduct legal research and perform basic level of legal analysis and legal issue spotting; draft contracts including sponsorships and marketing promotions; work directly with corporate and park marketing employees to field and answer or direct inquires about promotions and events and assist in training and maintenance of matter management and electronic billing system; assist lawyers in development and issuance of legal hold orders.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Paralegal certification preferred. 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant with intellectual property experience required, preferably with a medium to large size law firm or corporate legal department. Experience with intellectual property, trademark and portfolio management is needed. Proficiency in legal research using computerized research services such as Westlaw, Lexis, USPTO.gov, Saegis/Serion, other IP search and filing systems, and the internet is required. Excellent skills in Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Word are a must. Ability and experience with analysis, filing, and maintenance of an intellectual property portfolio is essential. Excellent communication skills.
