Legal Secretary Duties: Will join the probate and estate Planning practice group. Support a partner level attorney with a significant book of business that continues to grow and requires an exceptional Assistant with a desire to compliment the practice and become an integral part of client service. Responsibilities will include heavy calendar Management (maintain schedule by Planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, etc.), preparing estate Planning documents, managing billing issues to facilitate timely submission of invoices to clients, analyzing email and regular mail to determine significance and treatment, regular and direct interaction with clients mainly by phone, Management of available resources in order to juggle multiple assignments, the ability to stay a step ahead of client demands and deadlines and other similar Executive Assistant level tasks.<br /> <br /> Requirements: A BA or BS degree preferred. Must have 5+ years of experience at the Executive Assistant level. Previous Legal experience. Should be highly skilled Executive Assistant level Legal Secretary. Should be highly detailed individual with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills a must. A proven track record of supporting high level executives is required. Excellent Proofreading and strong organization skills. Advanced skills in MS Word; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint helpful. High degree of flexibility, adaptability and initiative. Strong communication skills - verbal as well as listening. Work independently using excellent problem solving skills. Ability to handle a wide variety of situations and personalities without losing composure.
