Job Profile. US/ALAC Negotiations Manager
The candidate will report into the US Sales Planning and Operations organization. In this position, the Manager is tasked with the leadership and supervision of a team of contract negotiators. These negotiators are responsible for the direct negotiating and closing of complex contracts for company across a variety of markets and route-to-market models. As leader of the Negotiations team, serves as a primary point of contact with the Sales Leadership to ensure organizational alignment to business needs and ensuring the Negotiations team is maintaining appropriate service levels to the business. Requires an advanced understanding of contractual terms and conditions, as well as extensive experience in executing against several complex negotiations simultaneously. Working in concert with Sales, Contract Operations, Legal, Finance, and WW Contracts the Negotiations Manager engages the negotiations team in strategic contract negotiations and proactively leads the team in execution. Responsible for resolving unique business issues and formulating executive-level recommendations using analysis, creativity and the development of new approaches to enable sales to close deals while safeguarding company and create a positive customer experience all in accordance with company policies and procedures. As leader of the Negotiations team, may be asked to step into large strategic opportunities as a lead negotiator. These may include to, large public-sector customers, large Reseller partners, or State/Federal agencies. The role requires an exceptionally effective communicator in both written and verbal skills. This includes the ability to engage with ease across a diverse set of customers and company leadership, including company Executives and Senior Management. Additionally, work closely with and garner support from cross-functional business partners, including Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Support Operations, Legal, WW Contracts, and Tax.
