Patent Legal Secretary The candidate should have strong typing, Proofreading and organizational skills; be well-organized and able to manage/prioritize workload; possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be able to meet strict deadlines; and be willing to work in a team environment. Should have H.S. diploma or GED equivalent; typing speed of 60 wpm with a high degree of accuracy; proficiency in Word; 5+ years of Legal Secretary experience; familiarity with rules and procedures of the PTO; familiarity with Foundation IP patent docketing; and experience in patent prosecution area, both foreign and US desired, and flexibility regarding hours desired (overtime may be requested).
