Secretary - Business Law The candidate will prepare and file formal documents in a timely manner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Handle Administrative aspects of U.S. patent prosecution; monitor and maintain attorney(s) case dockets; maintain patent application files and compose correspondence, reports, memoranda and Legal documents from dictation, drafts, handwritten or oral instructions as directed by assigned attorney(s). The candidate should have 5+ years of patent prosecution secretarial experience within a professional environment, law firm and/or other professional services preferred. Must have experience with the preparation of formal documents for USPTO patent filings and with maintaining U.S. patent application files. Must have USPTO electronic filing experience. Knowledge of International procedures and requirements preferred. Good communication skills, both verbal and written required. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat necessary.
