Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will type and edit computer system Legal and other documents including correspondence, memoranda, bills, timesheets and project work from Transcription tapes, handwritten or typed materials or shorthand notes. Will copy, distribute, send, file or otherwise handle completed work; proofread work Product for accuracy, format, grammar, punctuation and syntax (including work performed by overflow secretaries and word processing operators); receive, screen and transmit telephone calls, conference calls and messages to/from attorneys, clients and Staff; process incoming and outgoing mail; prepare and process new client matter reports, time reports and expense reports; schedule and coordinate conferences, meetings and appointments; coordinate Travel arrangements including air and ground transportation and hotel accommodations; manage work flow at desk including coordinating with Office services, document processing, TSS, docket, copy service, support and Financial services. Set up and maintain filing system (administrative, chronological, etc.).<br /> <br /> The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 5+ years of prior litigation experience. Should have MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email, preferably Lotus Notes skills. Must have ability to type 70+ wpm.
