Legal Analyst The candidate will, under general supervision, assist with the day-to-day tasks associated with the duties of the IRS Asset Forfeiture Program. Will generate charts, create fairly complex formulas, imbed objects, etc. without supervision or direction. Collect legal data and analysis and evaluate information. Prepare summaries and digest pertinent legal data relating to seized and forfeited assets. Perform legal research for the forfeiture staff, summarize disposition transcripts and compile indices and trail material. Conduct thorough legal and factual research. Distribute and receive documents related to seized and forfeited assets. Discretely handle confidential material and sensitive information. Input seizure data into IRS Data Tracking system. Collaborate with team members to meet client requirements. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) or paralegal certificate with 4+ years of legal or business area experience. Paralegal certification is a plus. Should have demonstrated skills, based on education or work experience, in the collection of legal data and analysis and evaluation of information.
