Tax Litigation Support Specialist The candidate will assist the Tax Practice Group with document, database, and information Management both in-house and with outside vendors. Will be responsible for providing Paralegal support to attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through Trial and post-trial findings and appeals. Maintain and organize document Management databases. Develop databases, including loading of documents, structuring of data fields and data manipulation. Interact with litigation support vendors to facilitate effective case Management. Manage databases both in-house and hosted with vendors. Provide the most cost-effective solutions for clients. Conduct database searches, review documents and compile responsive documents for witness binders, discovery Production, privilege logs and similar controversy projects. Assist attorneys with discovery and document productions. Prepare binders, digest documents and compile other materials for use by attorneys. Assist counsel at Trial, operate in-court presentation equipment.<br /> <br /> The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Must have 4+ years of experience as Paralegal or litigation Support Specialist. Proficiency in using litigation electronic databases, such as Concordance, Summation and Relativity, and experience in working with litigation support vendors required. Experience managing databases hosted with vendors on platforms such as Relativity needed. Prior experience managing Relativity in a law firm environment preferred. Thorough understanding of litigation process needed. Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite of applications required. Proficiency in using and administering SQL databases preferred.
