Legal Assistant Duties: Will report to Chief Financial Officer / General Counsel. Will be responsible for preparing corporate reports including minutes and annual statements; researching corporate filing requirements for California and other states; drafting correspondence, reports and summaries; coordinating the processing and payment of invoices and insurance and litigation settlements; assisting the legal team in drafting affidavits, discovery and supporting documentation under supervision of in-house counsel; providing administrative support to corporate executives; and maintaining litigation and corporate files.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 2+ years of prior work experience. Prior experience with corporate filings. Prior litigation experience is a plus. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing skills and ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail.
