Senior Control Analyst – Data Privacy The candidate will have responsibility for managing all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to company’s policies and procedures related to the collection, use, and transfer of HR/workforce data globally in compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations and company’s privacy and information security policies and practices. Will work in close partnership with HR Control and Compliance Program Managers and Regional Managers, internal clients (HR reporting team members, generalists / business advisors, program owners, and application managers), and internal stakeholders (members of company’s Data Privacy Operations, Data Privacy Office, Legal, and Compliance teams). Provide development guidance and assist in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide HR/workforce information privacy policies and procedures. Provide leadership, subject matter expertise, and awareness to internal clients (HR reporting team members, generalists / business advisors, program owners, and application managers) on global data privacy laws with implications for the collection, use, and transfer of HR/workforce data. Work closely members of company’s Data Privacy Operations, Data Privacy Office, Legal, and Compliance teams to analyze data privacy obligations for HR programs and provide recommended solutions. Develop, manage, and utilize proprietary applications and/or databases necessary to track the data elements and requirements associated with the cross-border transfer of all existing and new HR/workforce data that is utilized enterprise-wide. Partner with HR Control and Compliance Program Managers and Regional Managers, internal clients, and internal stakeholders to establish ongoing compliance monitoring activities. Develop a solid understanding of all HR Control and Compliance programs and the Global Human Resources function, systems, and applications.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. Relevant certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM), an advanced degree (J.D. degree, Masters, etc.), or similar experience with a large, global organization is a plus. Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook). Should have extensive knowledge and experience with global data privacy laws and basic information security principles. Exceptional written and interpersonal communication and organizational skills are needed. Should have sound judgment, decision making, and critical thinking skills. Proven experience managing large, complex programs/projects is required. Must have excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.
