Job Profile
Legal Secretary The candidate will provide secretarial support to attorneys including, preparation of Legal documents, correspondence and pleadings from draft or dictation to proofread final. Will also be responsible for making Travel arrangements, processing expense reports and client billing. Other duties including managing attorneys' calendars, coordinating meetings and depositions, maintaining files and performing other Administrative duties as assigned. Should have high school diploma or equivalent. Must have 5-7 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary. Should be familiar with state and federal rules and procedures. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Should have a solid understanding of technical Legal terminology and court filings. Excellent typing skills and prior experience with a document Management system (NetDocuments) a plus.
