Poverty Law Internship The students work on a wide range of civil legal issues facing low-income Mainers including, housing, consumer law and public benefits. Students will work with attorneys and advocates to respond to the immediate needs of individual low-income clients. Responsibilities will include client intake on-going client communication, case management, research, and other case work. Students will have the opportunity to observe staff in court and students who have completed 2nd year in law school will have the opportunity to provide representation in court.
